Meet Gregor

I met my first life coach when I was 19. In one session, she completely changed the trajectory of my life. And ever since then, I’ve wanted to be a life coach, but something critical to being a life coach was missing all these years – life experience! It wasn’t until 18 years later in 2006, after studying my most recent long-term relationship break up, that I started developing my own new ideas that could empower people. With a goal of becoming an effective teacher of life’s principles, I chose to learn to embrace suffering and failure with open arms. The growth that comes from the recovery process offers up so many teachable moments and ideas.

I know suffering. I know the grief from losing friends and family to cancer. I know the anguish of ending a long-term relationship with someone I deeply loved. I experienced physically painful anxiety for years.

I learned how to overcome my anxiety habits with the guidance of a talk therapist; After several years in talk therapy, around age 50, enough of the ideas I was learning and the techniques I was practicing started to work together. The day finally came when I felt courageous enough to start speaking about my anxiety in the past tense.

This was a big moment. Over time, I experienced less suffering, more resilience, and shorter recovery times. I gained first hand experience that it is absolutely possible to rewire the brain for new ideas and habits, even if you have spent years thinking some condition is “just the way I am — and it’s hopeless.” We also addressed my low self-esteem which brought wonderful side benefits; many of my long-term mysteries around motivation and discipline took care of themselves in the process.

I am not a professor of psychology, philosophy, or neurobiology. I don’t collect PhDs. I spent many years in tech as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. I analyzed systems, tested software, and documented results. I troubleshot problems, found root causes, and wrote up steps to lead others to replicate the problem. I bring this methodical approach into my coaching.

I am insatiably curious about human behavior. I’ve found my way to ongoingly distill growth from suffering. With valuable life experience in the rear view mirror, I am following my calling of coaching. Sharing ideas, collecting life principles, and developing new habits have created incredible change for me, and I know they can help others create the growth and change they seek.

My strengths in the software world, my passionate curiosity, and my obsession with continuous self-improvement can now be shared with you. I’m proud and excited to use my processes, techniques, and ideas to help you re-architect your life to fully align with your values, right now.
